SHOT, STYLED, EDITED: HOW I STYLE MY LOOKS

Hello! I’m back with another post in my Shot, Styled, Edited series, here to talk about how I style my looks. I am always coming up with different outfits in my head at all times. I wanted to share a few of my tips and tricks that I use to come up with different looks and make the most of what I already have in my wardrobe. I hope you find this helpful and as always let me know if you try any of these tips out yourself!

Set aside a try-on time!

This has to be my number one strategy, it saves so much time getting dressed (and $$) when you have made time to know what outfits you already have. I try to take an evening every couple of weeks, open up my closet, and just start trying things on and piecing combinations together that I haven’t worn before. You will be amazed by how many new outfits you can create using what you already have!

Take mirror selfies

When I try on different looks, even in dressing rooms, I always take mirror selfies so I can remember the different looks I created and can look at them from the perspective of a camera so I can make sure I like how it looks.

Use Pinterest

I can’t say enough good things about Pinterest, but seriously, I get such good outfit inspo from them!

Either layer up or keep it simple

I find that with fashion you are either all in or all out. I prefer a really simple look like jeans and a white t-shirt with some minimal gold jewelry or having a sweater, under a coat, with a scarf and boots. :)
